UNC School of Public Health – Alan Cross, professor in schools of medicine and public health, dies Jan. 5

Alan Cross, MD, professor of social medicine and pediatrics in the UNC School of Medicine and of maternal and child health at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, died peacefully at his home on Jan. 5.

Dr. Cross, who served on the medical school faculty for more than 30 years, was a major part of the experience of a generation of medical students.
